O estudante de l\u00edngua inglesa muitas vezes tem dificuldades em entender os ‘wh-questions<\/strong>‘ em perguntas porque eles s\u00e3o muito pequenos e normalmente confundem bastante. O ideal \u00e9 exercit\u00e1-los bastante para n\u00e3o cair na confus\u00e3o quando ouvir uma pergunta com eles ou quando deparar-se em alguma quest\u00e3o de interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o textual que os tenha presentes. Alguns deles s\u00e3o compostos, ou seja, a partir de uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o terminam tendo seu sentido alterado. Observe a tabela a seguir:<\/div>\n

What time = Que horas?<\/strong><\/span>
What time is it?<\/span><\/strong> (Que horas s\u00e3o?)
<\/em>What time do you get up?<\/strong><\/span> (Que horas voc\u00ea levanta?)
<\/em>What time do you go to bed?<\/strong><\/span> (Que horas voc\u00ea vai para cama?)<\/em><\/span>

What kind = Que tipo?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
What kind of music do you like?<\/strong> <\/span>(Que tipo de m\u00fasica voc\u00ea gosta?)

Which = Qual? ou Quais?.<\/strong><\/span> Esse costuma causar um pouco de confus\u00e3o pela semelhan\u00e7a de significado com what<\/strong>. <\/span>No entanto, ele \u00e9 usado quando nos referimos a uma escolha entre elementos, ou seja, \u00e9 uma pergunta com op\u00e7\u00f5es limitadas de resposta.
Which one is yours: the blue or the red? <\/strong><\/span>(Qual \u00e9 o seu: o azul ou o vermelho?)
Which one of the papers is yours?<\/strong><\/span> (Qual dos trabalhos \u00e9 o seu?) <\/em><\/span>

How = Como?<\/strong><\/span>
How are you?<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>(Como voc\u00ea est\u00e1?)
<\/span><\/em>How is your family?<\/strong><\/span> (Como est\u00e1 sua fam\u00edlia?)

How old = Ao p\u00e9 da letra “Como velho, qu\u00e3o velho”. Traduzimos como “Quantos anos?”\u00c9 usado para perguntar a idade.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
